Job Description

In this independent role, the patent attorney assistant/formalities officer is responsible for monitoring and keeping track of the progress of patent procedures at home and abroad, where you must keep a close eye on all deadlines. You provide administrative and organizational support to patent attorneys.

Candidate Requirements

The right candidate:

• Has administrative experience
• Is willing to work at least 32 hours per week
• Thinks and works at HBO level
• Finds it challenging to continue delving into the complexity of patent granting procedures and supporting patent attorneys in this
• Is accurate, result-oriented, flexible, tactful and can handle work pressure well
• Has excellent command of Dutch and English language in word and writing, knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
• Is independent and can also work well in a team
