Role Description

Training Program

Each year, we recruit a number of exceptional STEM graduates, with our renowned training programme supporting them through to qualification as a UK and European patent attorney.

Chemistry Team Focus

The Chemistry team is trusted by many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, helping to protect research on a wide variety of groundbreaking therapeutics and their delivery. The team also protects exciting technologies in other fields, particularly:

  • Polymer chemistry
  • Batteries
  • Cleantech
  • Metallurgy
  • Catalysts
  • Consumer products
  • Nutraceuticals

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong first degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) or PhD in a relevant technical discipline
  • Excellent A Levels (typically three at grade A or equivalent, including two STEM subjects)
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and organization
  • Strong communication abilities

Recruitment Process

  3. First-stage interview
  4. Second-stage interviews (October, November, December)
