Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Conduct patent searches and provide due diligence support
• Prepare responses to office actions and official communications
• Advise clients on patentability, prosecution strategies, and infringement issues
• Collaborate with inventors, technical experts, and clients
• Review and analyze patent portfolios
• Maintain organized records and meet deadlines
• Support IP litigation and enforcement activities
• Stay updated on patent law and relevant technical fields

Qualifications

Education

• Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, or related field
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• State bar admission (if applicable)

Experience and Skills
