Engineering Patent Attorney Position

Job Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Engineering Patent Attorney. As part of our Dynamics team, you will be handling a caseload of drafting and prosecution work on behalf of a direct client base, including but not limited to headline companies in the South-West.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle drafting and prosecution work for direct clients
• Collaborate with our litigation team, providing technical expertise for international patent litigation matters
• Work closely with high calibre patent colleagues

Required Qualifications

Professional Credentials

• Qualified as a UK/European Patent Attorney (between 2022-2024)
• Focus on Engineering

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of core engineering principles
• Experience in patent law
• Experience in handling complex original patent drafting
• Knowledge of patent drafting, prosecution, and challenges

Educational Background

• Strong academic and technical background in engineering
