Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Background

• Master’s Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in:
• Chemistry
• Organic Chemistry
• Applied Chemistry
• Polymer Science
• Polymer Engineering
• Biochemistry
• Related field

Professional Credentials

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Patent Bar eligible
• Licensed to practice law in respective state (if applicable)

Skills and Abilities

• Strong time management skills
• Ability to meet and manage deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Superior writing and analytical skills
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Support due diligence efforts

• Non-partner track position

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range

• New York City and Washington, D.C.: $150,000 – $165,000 annually
• Other locations: Market-specific ranges apply
