Patent Agent/Attorney Opportunity at Blank Rome LLP

Position Overview

Blank Rome LLP seeks a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to support our patent prosecution practice. The successful candidate will:

• Leverage technical expertise to protect clients’ technology with patents
• Be based in New York, Houston, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. offices
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Key Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications
• Prosecute applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Support due diligence efforts

Qualifications and Skills

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Patent Bar eligible
• Licensed to practice law in respective state (if applicable)
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to meet and manage internal and client-driven deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Superior writing and analytical skills
• Capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Position Details

• Non-partner track position
• Open to recruiting agency submissions

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range

• New York City and Washington, D.C.: $150,000 – $165,000 annually
• Other locations: Market-specific ranges apply
